Mira Loma is proud to celebrate Baryalai Talash, bilingual instructional assistant and community leader, as a 2025 Spirit of San Juan Honoree!
Mr. Talash has played a vital role in supporting Mira Loma’s Afghan newcomer students and their families. By equipping staff with cultural insights and founding the school’s first Afghan Culture Club, he’s helped foster understanding, connection, and pride. His leadership has strengthened our school community and created a more welcoming environment for all.
