Food Delivery Policy
MLHS Food Delivery Policy

Commercial delivery is not allowed at Mira Loma.
STUDENTS are not allowed to have Doordash, Postmates or any other food service deliver food during school hours. It is unsafe, as the delivery drivers do not go through any district screening processes and this means that, in order for a student to get a delivery, a minor would have to interact with an unknown adult with a car. This makes the practice unsafe for students and against school rules. If a student has food delivered on campus, they will receive a warning. If they continue to order, they will receive detention for violating the policy. Any delivered food intercepted by MLHS staff will NOT be delivered and will NOT be released to students until the end of the day.
Parents and family are welcome to drop off items for their student through the front office. We understand that students do not always remember to bring everything each school day and that needs change throughout the day. Please know your student's schedule so that the front office can help ensure your student receives their item(s).
The MLHS staff asks that parents and guardians support the school's policy as it promotes a safer campus for all students attending.
If you have questions regarding this policy, please reach out to our VP office.
