Dear Mira Loma High School Students and Families,
As the principal of Mira Loma High School, I am honored to welcome both new and returning families to our campus for the 2024-2025 school year! With an emphasis on embracing diversity and valuing excellence, our mission at Mira Loma is to educate each student through rigorous, high-quality programs which involve dynamic activities in a collaborative, compassionate and safe learning community. Our dedicated team of teachers, counselors, support staff, and administrators are here to support you in every step of your high school educational journey.
Over the span of the last 25 years in education, my experiences have taught me the importance of servant leadership, visibility, trust, building relationships, strengthening community partnerships, and being a champion for all students. I will look to partner with you in continuing this important work as principal of Mira Loma High School.
I am passionate about supporting students and helping to prepare them for successful futures after high school. I believe that courage, humility, resiliency, and creativity are some of the most important characteristics for students to discover.
My primary goals are to create and maintain equitable opportunities for students to be active members in our school and community, to foster a culture that allows students to build healthy relationships, and to ensure that students graduate prepared to thrive in a global economy. I am a firm believer that with hard work and determination students can accomplish anything they set their minds to.
Our office staff, teachers, counselors, custodial staff, and Vice Principals have done exceptional work over the course of the summer to prepare for the upcoming school year and we are looking forward to welcoming students and families very soon!
